Do NOT get tempted to touch the Tortoises or any other creature when visiting Galapagos!
It's not that they might harm you, but you might harm them!!!
We wear all kinds of gems and bacteria on us, suncream, bug repellent etc… Would you really want to infect such beautiful Creatures for a split second of caressing them?!?!
I defo would not!!!! With this video I would simply like to show the tortoise's gentle and curious character. This moment came out of no where: it started by eye contact and reacting to my voice. I still have no clue why he acted this intense.
I hope you can feel my joy and emotions when you see this. It's this Creature that had caught my heart 30 years ago already. So intrigueing, I could cry <3
