If you get caught when you go against Galapagos' Rules the penalty is huuuuge!!! Fined, kicked of the islands and your name will make it on the black list: you will never be allowed to come back again. Please do not get stubborn, do not raise your shoulders and say you won't come back anyway: you might just make it harder for following visitors:-(
But most important is the health for the animals themselves. They rule the islands, it's their habitat and not ours. Please do not infect them with our gems etc by touching them. Where the little calf was laying, I was standing there as he and his mom came out of the water. I backed up to give space.
